Distribution of serial codes in shareware

Shareware is a type of license that allows end users to evaluate
an application before making the decision to purchase it. If
the application meets the expectations, the end user will then
have to pay to receive a serial code or an unlock code or the
full version of the program under evaluation.
Developers have several services and portals available on the
web allowing them to publish and market their shareware applications,
but these services and portals present several problems:
1. They get an important commission for each sale.
2. They do not control chargeback and fraud problems and hence
the developer suffers an economic damage for unpaid sums of
money and applications obtained in an illegal or fraudulent
manner.
3. The developer typically needs to delegate the distribution
of his full versions or serial codes to the shareware portal
and usually has scarce or non existent control over the destination
of full versions.
